Our award winning restaurant the Bistro is a treat. Overlooking the famous Derry City Walls, the Bistro at the Tower restaurant provides a contemporary and stylish setting that is appealing to both residents and locals alike.
Both Full Ulster and Continental Breakfasts are served in the Bistro from 7.00am until 10.00am daily and over the weekend from 7.30am until 11.00am.
The imaginative lunch and dinner menu is a fusion of local and International influences and this award winning Bistro has become a very popular choice amongst the local Derry community. The Bistro is open daily for dinner from 6pm – 9.30pm with extended hours over the weekend. Lunch is served on Sunday only from 12.30pm – 3.00pm.
Completed by a comprehensive wine list, and with the friendly service of our professional staff, this is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a great dining experience.
Spa
For health and fitness conscious guests, we offer a cleverly designed addition to the hotel's facilities. Located on the 4th floor, with unobstructed views of the City Walls, and the bustling city below, the fitness suite is equipped with the more popular cardiovascular exercise machines, including treadmill walkers, rowing machines and stationary bikes, as well as a selection of free weights.
Following your exercise routine relax and soak up the heat in the sauna.
Please note that the fitness suite is only for use of hotel residential guests and children are not permitted in this area as it is unsupervised.
Conference Facilities
With its city centre location, Tower Hotel Derry is an ideal venue for conferences, seminars, training and corporate events both nationally and locally. The Tower Business Suites offer three conference rooms accommodating between 50 and 300 delegates. The hotel offers an extensive range of menus to choose from, complemented by a contemporary wine list. Our Event Co ordinator will be happy to assist advise you with your selection, and be on hand to ensure that your event runs according to plan from start to finish.

Situated on the Waterside area is Riverwatch at the Lough’s Agency which provides the opportunity to explore the Foyle and Carlingford Loughs. The Workhouse Museum tells the story of the famine and the Battle of the Atlantic. The Glenaden Shirt Museum explores the history of shirt making in the city and Prehen House is home to one of Ireland’s greatest love stories, the legend of Half Hung McNaughton.
Derry has a rich and varied cultural heritage and the City Walls are home to a number of museums, galleries and theatres, as well as thriving musical and literary scenes. There is a taxi rank at the airport and transfer to the hotel costs £10
From The Bus Station
Go through the arch onto Ferry Quay Street and proceed to the Diamond. At Diamond, take 2nd exit, straight through onto Butcher Street. The Tower Hotel Derry is located on the right hand side.
By Car
Follow signs for City Centre, and Craigavon Bridge. At junction for Craigavon Bridge, turn right, signposted city centre. At end of the bridge take 2nd exit at roundabout onto Carlisle Road. Go through the arch onto Ferry Quay Street and proceed to the Diamond. At Diamond, take 2nd exit, straight through onto Butcher Street. The Tower Hotel Derry is located on the right hand side. The hotel car park is located on Magazine Street just past the hotel on the right hand side.
From The Train Station
There is a train service from Belfast to Derry. From Dublin it is necessary to travel to Belfast and change there for a Derry train. Details of the train service are available on www.nirailways.co.uk
